Computer Society of India is the first network of computer professionals in India, established in 1965 by a few enthusiastic computer professionals, which is now the largest and the most strongly growing society.
Keeping at par with the vision of CSI, CSI student chapter at DTU provides a great platform for students to meet and exchange ideas, develop Interest Development Groups (IDGs) to enhance their theory and practice of Computer science and technology. We, at CSI-DTU, aspire to inspire, nurture and assist students to integrate into the IT community. Seniors guide and help their juniors in various fields like Web Development, Machine Learning, Python, Competitive Programming etc., thus facilitating a healthy knowledge sharing arena.
Carrying on the legacy of the technical fests at DTU, Invictus 2018 will host a plethora of events, spanning over three days, 12 – 14th February. Domains like coding, applied sciences, core engineering and non-tech shall be covered. This year, CSI-DTU has planned a variety of events, that will test concepts as well as cognitive skills of the participants. The events range widely from quizzes on coding, mathematics, logical reasoning and analytical skills to sudoku solving (with a twist) and football bidding.
We will introduce you to innovative and interesting games that involve programming. The competitions would be conducted in two rounds – online/offline prelims and offline finals.
Someone very wise once said, ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’ . We are well aware that coding all day and making you use your brain for all three days of fest will take a toll on you, which is exactly why we have something fun planned as well. We are conducting an online meme making competition (because, obviously, the world lives on memes right now!) and a bidding event (for all you football fans out there) during the fest days!
