Indian Institute of Technology, (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi is a pioneering technological institution in the country, and has fostered many great thinkers over the past one hundred years. It brings together more than half a million spectators from across the nation for its annual techno-management fest – Technex, a celebrated three day stage of creation, innovation, and invention.

Technex 2017 is going to be organized from 24th to 26th February 2017.
Technex holds a multitude of events from many fascinating arenas of technology and management. Briefly, they are:
- Robonex – Next gen robotics
- Ascension- Aero-modelling events
- Supernova- Astronomy based events
- Byte the Bits- Programming competitions
- Extreme Engineering- Core engineering events
- Riqueza – Management-related events
- Creatrix – Digital arts and creativity
- Modex – Showcase innovative ideas
- Pahal – Socio-environmental events
These categories together comprise more than 30 events. The fest upholds lucrative prizes worth INR 200,000 at stake for more than 20,000 participants to compete for.
Startup Fair – It is a lavish expo of striving enterprises, which will entertain wonderful investors, coolheaded pitchers and perhaps breakthroughs which will literally change the way we live and breathe.
Exhibitions –Onlookers will be dazzled by novel prototypes and inspiring inventions which will be profusely laid out by great corporations in their efforts to bring about real change in our lives and the lives of human beings throughout the globe.

Prof. Veerbhadra Mishra Memorial Air show- A one of a kind show which will lift heads up and widen eyes all around, as mighty machines take-off and tear the skies apart. Watch an exquisite tango of design and thrust, as RC planes and Quadcopters display their flair of flight, and blast off to infinity and beyond!
Think Talks – Renowned for its forethoughtful series of guest lectures, Think Talks, Technex presents pioneers and promising leaders from many different terrains of life, as they gather about and let on their memories and messages.
