JEE Main 2017 Notification

The notification for JEE Main 2017 is already live. CBSE in pursuance of MHRD has announced JEE 2017 would be conducted on 2^nd April 2017 (Sunday) by the JEE Apex Board. Students who would qualify in this entrance exam would be eligible to take admission in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions in Undergraduate Engineering Programmes. JEE Main is again an eligibility test for JEE Advanced required for the admission to the premier institutes like IITs and ISM Dhanbad. Availability of detailed information bulletin: 1^st December 2016

Online Application Process start: 1^st December 2016

Online Application Process end: 2^nd January 2017

JEE Main 2017 Exam: 2^nd April 2017 (Sunday)

JEE Main 2017 Result: 27^th April 2017 (Thursday)

IMPORTANT Points to be Noted for JEE Main 2017

1. There shall be no weightage for the 12^th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination.
2. Candidates has to secure at least 75% marks in the 12^th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12^th class examination conducted by the respective Boards to take admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks.
3. AADHAAR card is must for the applicant to fill up the JEE Main 2017 application form.
