The venture challenge 2.0 was held on 7th March 2019 by Shiv Nadar University’s Entrepreneurship cell in collaboration with the Atal Incubation centre. The primary objective of this event was to recognize and promote the startup culture. The venture challenge 2.0 is a flagship event inviting emerging and seed-stage startups to present their initiatives and the ideas behind them, to compete for incubation under the Atal Incubation centre. Participants were asked to submit their presentation for round1. Shortlisted candidates were invited to Shiv Nadar University to pitch their idea under seven minutes followed by a ten minute Q&A session with the judges.
Our esteemed panel had Mr. Sivesh Kumar who is a Tedx speaker and mentor for entrepreneurs, Mr.Ajay Muttreja – an advisor and mentor to startups, VC, COE ICCo, CEE, FICCI Startup Committee, SINE, iHubs, Mr Misbah Ashraf, who hires iOS and React Developers and Mr.Ankur Goel who is working on business transformation.
Total thirteen startups participated. Among them three were from the food – Amlani tea which manufactures tea in Assam, Prep’d -providing ready to cook meal kits for millennials, Food Viraam-providing information about good restaurants on highways. From the tech space, we had-23ML which provides a tech solution for organizing events, Caller Desk which redefines the way businesses communicate, RightXData providing Data analysis for smart cities, RunVido which has built an augmented reality application, GreenIP core who have discovered a new way to build silicon chips. Inneate and VShipAll provide reengineered way of logistics in healthcare supplies and truck space sector respectively. EdCaptain , Best of Schools and Infinocto have platforms which are curated for schools, preschools and engineering students respectively.
All the founders were really enthusiastic and had great passion while presenting their pitch. Overall, the event was an incredible learning experience for startups who took it as a healthy competition.
