IIT Kharagpur – Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science Symposium – COMPOSIT – 2015

COMPOSIT – 2015, the annual Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science Symposium organized by IIT Kharagpur, is scheduled to be held on 14^th and 15^th March. The National meet, Congress of Metallurgical Professionals involving Students, Industry and Teachers (COMPOSIT), is organized by the Society of Metallurgical Engineers functioning under the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Leica, DUCOM, ICON Analytical, Bruker and Toshniwal have previously partnered with COMPOSIT.

The symposium serves as an interactive platform for students to participate in various interesting events and allows them to gain immense knowledge and understanding of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science. The meet aims at motivating the passionate metallurgists from around the nation to showcase their talent and knowledge. In addition to this, COMPOSIT also gives students an opportunity to intermingle with experts from the fields of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science.
