Posted on July 25, 2014December 16, 2016 By Ignite Engineers 4 Comments on CIPETs in India

Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & TechnologyWe all know what is the importance of plastic. Life without plastic can’t be imagined. It seems simple, but we never realize  when, where and how much, we use things made up of plastic. This is how plastic has impacted our life by being an unavoidable element. So, in a country like India there must be technical studies on Plastic Technology. Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) has taken the responsibility to develop the industrial education on Plastic Engineering in India.

You can visit the following links to know more about IITs, NITs, IIITs and NITTTRs in India.

CIPET is an ISO 9001:2008 QMS, NABL, ISO/IEC 17020 accredited premier national Institution devoted to Academic, Technology Support & Research (ATR) activities for the growth of Polymer & allied industries in the country. CIPET has many R&D and Learning centers throughout India. Total 16 centres are at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Hajipur, Haldia, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mysore and Panipat. All the CIPET centres have state of art infrastructural facilities in the areas of Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality control to cater to the needs of Polymer & allied industries in the country [source]. In this post IgEn gives the details of only those centers, which offers some academic degree on Plastic Engineering.
