The NDA is the combined training academy conducted by the Indian Armed Forces. Here, the trainees of the Air Force, the Army and the Navy are trained simultaneously before they set out on a pre-authorizing training in individual institutes. NDA is the world’s first tri-service academy situated in Pune and Maharashtra.
Career
When a cadet effectively finishes the NDA program, he moves further to the institute he has selected for the training, earlier than he is conceded commission. The trainees of Army moves to IMA (Indian Military Academy), Dehradun, Naval trainees, move to INA (Indian Naval Academy), Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force trainees go for AFA (Air Force Association) at Dundigal, Hyderabad. When they finish the program, they are prepared to start a bright profession with the Indian Armed Forces.
A little bit about NDA exam
The NDA candidates are selected by conducting a written test by the UPSC (Union Public Services Commission), trailed by Intelligence and Personality test led by SSB (Services Selection Board), which incorporates aptitude, general, physical skills, team skills and so forth. The UPSC organizes this test two times every year in around 41 centers in the county.

The Written test comprises two segments: General Ability for 600 scores and Mathematics for 300 scores. Each exam is for 2-2.30 hours.
